«The Matrix»

For some people this film is an entertaining sci-fi action featuring cool cinematic technologies. For others – one of the most accurate and poignant socio-philosophic observations produced by genre-related movies in the last decades. What’s happening to our society? What our civilization is headed for? Does “the Matrix” have us? Or do we choose it ourselves? At our next session on Thursday, October 13 at 7 p.m. we are going to talk about The Matrix by The Wachowskis. There will be no screening, so you may want to rewatch the movie before attending discussion. Film Club is hosted by Dmitry Leonov. Meetings are held in English.
