In 1920s soviet people were fascinated by American image. Word “America” becomes the synonym with all new and modern. Vladimir Mayakovsky was one of the few people who had ability to see this mythical place with his own eyes. During the lecture we will talk about what Mayakovsky saw in America and how this trip affected his work.
