Lecture: «History and Culture of the first colonies in America»

How does one define the American way of life? What kind of concepts, ideas and traditions have shaped the way modern Americans think?

This lecture is dedicated to the very first chapter of the American History and its cultural significance for the modern US’ mentality. Unique circumstances in which the first European immigrants had to survive, also rethink, and reform their lifestyles on the North American soil had a lot to do with the nation which thrived later in this place. Led by Nataliya Lomteva, 2nd year MA in Cultural Studies. Please join us on Sunday, December 2 at 4 p.m. (in English)
