Twain’s “Huckleberry Finn” and the new period in the history of American literature.

Mark Twain once described “Adventures of Huckleberry Finn” as “…a book of mine where a sound heart and a deformed conscience come into collision and conscience suffers defeat”. Nowadays that novel of his is named among the first in major American literature. At the meeting we will follow Huck and his friend, a run-away slave Jim, rafting along the Mississippi river and struggling the challenges of their hard journey. Please join us on Wednesday,25th of October at 7p.m. Led by Anna Dvoretskaya, senior teacher of English at the Finance University under the RF Government has a TESOL/TESL/TEFL certificate.
