OxBridge Literature club By RELOD

Welcome to the next meeting of OxBridge literature club led by RELOD publishing house, held on Thursday, May 12 at 7 p.m. What makes one city different from another? Is it the architecture, the climate or the people? It’s the people, for sure, who make the city, and to know the city you must know its people. You must know what makes them laugh and cry, know the small details of their everyday lives. At our next book club meeting we’ll discuss O. Henry’s “New Yorkers”, written over a hundred years ago, to see whether people’s hopes, fears and dreams change over time years and whether they are much different from ours. Join us on Thursday, May 12 at 7 p.m.!

The event will be led by Anna Dvoretskaya, the RELOD publishing house lecturer.

The participation is free. Prior registration required.
