Reading For Kids: “The Spiffiest Giant in Town”

Welcome to the American cultural center on Sunday, February 18 at 2 p.m. to join our fascinating Reading for kids. This time we will read and translate book “The Spiffiest Giant in Town” written by Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Axel Scheffler. When George the giant spies a shop full of wonderful clothes, he decides to treat himself to a new outfit. He puts on his new shirt, pants, shoes, and tie, and is immediately transformed from the scruffiest giant in town to the spiffiest giant in town…

From the creators of Room on the Broom, this is a lively tale that reminds readers that sometimes it’s what’s inside a person-or a giant-that matters most.

Afterwards we will discuss what we have learnt, and children will have some entertaining tasks related to the book.

Recommended age: 5 – 11 years. Prior registration is required: Register
