Vladimir Zvorykin: Russian-American Pioneer Inventor


Welcome to the American Cultural Center on Wednesday, October 21 at 7 p.m. for a lecture dedicated to Vladimir Zvorykin a Russian-American inventor, engineer, and pioneer of television technology. Brilliant scientist who was born and educated in Russia, but immigrated after the Revolution, he spent most of his life in the United States. The invention of modern television has an author, whose name is almost unknown in his homeland.

Lecture will be presented by Mr. Borisov Vasily Petrovich (Ph.D.Technical Science) a Deputy Director of Vavilov Institute of natural science and technology, member of American Historical Scientific Society HSS, and author of two biography books about V.K. Zvorykin.
