American Cultural Center is a public library. Everyone is welcome to use the resources at the Center.

The library collection includes a wide range of books, magazines, DVDs and CDs. It is organized in compliance with the Dewey decimal classification, and includes such subjects areas as:

000 Computer Science, information and general works;

100 Philosophy and psychology;

200 Religion;

300 Social Sciences;

400 Language;

500 Science;

600 Technology;

700 Arts and recreation;

800 Literature;

900 History and Geography.

Open access to shelves gives our patrons an opportunity to find exactly what they are looking for. Anyone with an ACC library card may check out books.

Books in the general stacks may be checked out for three weeks, with an opportunity to renew them three times. Periodicals and reference materials may not be checked out. Four books may be borrowed at a time. Only two DVDs may be borrowed at a time. You may renew a book, in person at the Circulation Desk or by phone at the first time for the additional three-week period if no hold has been placed on that book. The second and the third time the materials are due to show at the Circulation Desk for renewal. DVDs may not be renewed.
