Why do we do science?

As a part of our continuing exploration of science, we will examine the origins of science and the essentials of scientific method as well as the common roots of science and creative arts. This session is a logical follow-up to the previous one, during which we have learned that at the heart of being human is the necessity to ascribe sense to the world around us and ourselves.
