If we look closer at our daily conversations, we may notice that they consist of countless stories that we retell. For English language learners, this observation gives the key to tremendously improving their speaking skills.

While most of the time in the course is dedicated to speaking practice itself, here are the topics of importance that we will also touch:

– ideas for stories;

– ways of increasing vocabulary;

– the grammar used in retelling;

– importance of expressing ourselves in a clear way;

– active listening skills;

– self-study skills.

The series of meetings will be most beneficial to learners of Pre-Intermediate and higher levels of English speaking ability. These training sessions are held by an English language teacher, Caroline Nhimbo. Please join us on Wednesday, September 19 at 7 p.m.
