On 7^th of October 2017 at the Library for foreign literature will be held the Festival of American and Iberian cultures “Discovery day”.

What do North and South America have in common with Europe? How did the New world exist before Columbus? At our splendid Festival, you can get answers to these questions, and get acquainted with the history and culture of America and the Iberian Peninsula.

During the day program from 12.00 to 20.00 at the Festival venues, various events will take place:

• public readings;
• master-classes;
• dance and music programs;
• film screenings;
• conversation clubs and English lessons with native speakers;
• lecture hall;
• quest on Christopher Columbus expeditions;
• an interesting program for children;
• book crossing, where we exchange books in English and Spanish, and much more.
