Join us for a lecture on Wednesday, April 6 at 7:00p.m. You will make a fascinating trip around the world of American musicals. Musical is part and parcel of popular culture in America today. At the second lecture of the course, you will continue the acquaintance with the history of this phenomenon. Special attention will be paid to the great musicals composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber, who is arguably the most successful composer of our time. You will learn a lot of interesting facts about his musicals, that have run for more than a decade both in the West End and on Broadway, and watch highlights from the best of them.
