Stage Door – Musicals Club

Stage Door – Musicals Club

At the second meeting of the club, we will talk about the brightest shows in the history of the Soviet musicals, about Broadway productions brought to the USSR, and about the development of the musical theater in the Soviet and post-Soviet Russia.  You think there were no musicals in the USSR. Of course, there were! You will find out: What theaters produced musicals in the 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s — way before it became the mainstream? What do Julie Andrews and Tatiana Shmyga have in common? What Broadway masterpieces did the Soviet audience get to know? The next meeting of the Stage Door is on Monday, March 5 at 7 p.m. (in Russian)
